The origins of this school was established in January 1968 with the establishment of school distance / Filial Sukabumi, namely school in Sukabumi, Cianjur SMEA Affairs.
Then on June 10, 1980 SMEA Affairs inaugurated Sukabumi in Cianjur Cianjur status to SMEA Affairs until 1996, in the year 1997 its name changed to SMK Negeri 2 Cianjur, because local government decision then changed again its name to SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur start dated January 28, 2008 until now, which is the only State Vocational School in the District of Cianjur town.
