Every person has the ability to express themselves through art because of its intuitive power, will be able to create karyacipta with a variety of media it uses. In Indonesia, media, word / phrase (Verbal Art) as a medium for expression are well developed quite a lot of writers and works worldwide. Indonesian literary treasures of course not separated from the support of regional literature is the medium using the local language. Related to this recent event made Pasanggiri Cianjur regency, Appreciation of Language, Literature and the Arts Level Region I West Java province, followed by 294 participants from various districts / cities which are located in a vast western province.
The pasanggiri is contested, namely, read poetry, read news, speeches, storytelling, writing, reading and writing literacy in the language sunda sunda followed by students in elementary, middle, and high school.
On this occasion the Head of Provincial Education Department. Dr Jabar. H. Moch.Wahyudin Zarkasyi, Ak. said that with the side very appreciative of this activity because it is one way to preserve Sundanese art and culture. It's our obligation, including the government to maintain and preserve Sundanese art and culture from behind and got better and better.
Meanwhile, Head of Regional Development and Language Arts Education Department of West Java province, Uche Sastradipura SH. MM, as the committee chairman, explains, this activity is routinely conducted every year in various regions of West Java in order to develop and enhance arts and culture of Sunda.
Uche further hope that the holding of pasanggiri or race are Sundanese art and culture, community, especially the younger generation could be more loved art and budava sunda so become a pride. And Hopefully, this event could become negative anchoring globaslisasi flow.
The event which lasted for one day was held at three locations in the region Cipanas, Cianjur regency, followed by representatives from Cianjur, Sukabumi District, the city of Sukabumi, Bogar District, City of Bogor and Depok.
